One of the assignments on the woodworking course i’m currently on. Mostly made by hand tools (the grooves for the top and bottom were done on a router table)

The lid is a design i found somewhere on the internet and simplified for marquetry (the second thing i’ve ever marquetried (is that a word)). The Koi’s wiskers are pyrography.

Well done. That is a very respectable result. The marquetry should gain you a high grade. Great post, looking forward to your next project.

I think you did a great job. I really like the inlay on the top. Very cool….
