Their collection is growing. They will chose from one of these, the other will hang in my brother’s Tiki bar.
The red oak case box is approximately 16×30 inches with dovetailed corners.
The faces are zebrawood. I tried to orient the grain so that it gave an uplifting feel. The two vertical stiles do in fact go outward toward the top. One top rail is quartersawn, the second flatsawn. I had two flatsawn pieces ready for these, but goofed one up.
The finish is three coats of thinned poly (wiped on) and last a coat of buffed Trewax that I picked up at a garage sale for a quarter.
