A successful first attempt at this puzzle, There are magnets in the bottom of the holes, When the box is together and you tap the ball bearing to the grey side its locked and won’t slide apart, When you tap it to the other side the ball bearing goes in the deep hole and you can slide it apart… Stained the halves different colors and finished with gloss lacquer top coat…

Very neatly done, unique, and a lot of hard work too.
