This is a Quilt Stand I have made to match up with the previously posted Bed Chest. I found this item in a trade magazine from a few years back.
Mortise and tenon construction, held by Walnut locking wedges. The sides are made from Yellow Bud, dowels and stretcher are from cherry, and the appliques are made from Walnut-cherry-birdseye.
This quilt stand is a huge hit with family members; I have made 5 to date.
