Here is a walnut liquor cabinet I recently finished. The case work is hand cut dovetails as are the drawer boxes, shelves are attached by sliding dovetails. This project started with a new router bit to make the door frames and with that acquisition a need for a horizontal router setup so I took about a week to make one of those. I had always planned to have the case dovetailed, but when I got the doors made I figured the profile of the doors required a little more than a plain box so I made the molding to go at the top, the added benefit is that it hides some gaps in my joints :). The finish is one coat of walnut danish oil and three coats of sprayed on lacquer. Thanks for looking and any comments questions or critiques always welcome.

Very Classy. Great work. I agree, the molding on top looks really nice. I’m also a fan of the feet. Just nice work through out!

Really great. I too, like the feet and that’s a very interesting way to work the drawers.

Very pretty!

I see a huge problem though! It is empty!

Great work Zach! The finish looks great and I really like the molding on the top. I’m curious about the shelving and area behind the glass doors. Pics? Or maybe on the furniture thread.

Thanks for posting your project. Favorited.

Thanks all for the kind words. It was a fairly long build, but I am really pleased with the end result.

I m curious about the shelving and area behind the glass doors. Pics? Or maybe on the furniture thread.

What specifically are you interested in? I can get some detailed pictures tonight and get them to you.
