My College age daughter was doing a silent auction as a fundraiser for a classmate diagnosed with cancer, and asked me for some stuff for the auction. I had made some shelves for my other daughter that were just the right size for the desks in their sorority house. So I made 2 more sets for their silent auction. Oak ply with red oak face frames, put together with pocket screws, finished with 2 coats of tung oil. They went for $50.00 a set. They raised over $4,000.00 all together.
