These are a couple of bottle stoppers I had made last Christmas for friends and and family. First one made from box elder with a ebony chattered inlay, Second was made from Cocobolo with buffalo nickel button inlay. I was asked to post a couple.

Very nice, I love the chattered inlay. How did you do the chattering?

Turn – With a Sorby Chatter tool, used against the end grain of the ebony and a lot of practice.

Thank you for the comments.

Very nice. The inserts make them especially nice to sell or give as gifts.

this is a chrome stopper I turn more for collectors, the stainless steel I use are Ruth Niles which in my opinion are one on the best. I have posted a link to Ruth's site and thanks for your comments.
