My mother pass away on May 5th of this year. So to honor her I made these crosses for her brother, sisters, and goddaughter’s. They are made of black walnut and the dove is maple hand carved. They were a big hit now they want me to sell them due to the fact I’m unemployed and looking for work. But hope you all like. All comments are welcome. Thanks for looking!

That is a very nice gift for your mom’s family. I am sure they will be appreciated for years to come. Good luck selling them.

That’s a beautiful memorial for your mom.
Good luck with your sales.

Thank you for the kind words. But not for sale, at least until I get orders.

The crosses look very nice. It is a nice way to pay a tribute to your Mother. Sometimes, even in death our parents find a way to teach us or help us. Perhaps yours provided a source of income to help you in this difficult time.

I would approach funeral homes in your area with the idea of commemorative crosses as a means of remembering a deceased loved one. You could custom make them in a selection of wood. Possibly engrave a name on the cross or on a brass plaque. You might also want to approach religious item stores in your area with your crosses. Either on consignment or for outright sale. Also local churches if they are having craft or holiday fares. Good luck.

Have your say...
