I am a small “part time” shop that’s been overrun lately. My desire is to be full time wood in 2 years. So hopefully I am not boring too many folks with my posts.

This is a kitchen island that’s 5’x8’. Beetle Kill Pine. Not fun to move into place. It’s 2” thick.

Thanks for reading and all comments and suggestions are welcome.

LOL! I’m bored! To see you productive Monte is never boring. You seem to be going pretty full head on with production. That’s great!

I like the choice of the wood used there.

Nice work.

We “borrow” ideas from what other people make, so it is never boring.

Looks good Monte. You need a bunch of young strong boys to help with that big stuff.

Looks Good! Good work attracts new customers. Sounds like you are well on your way to full time wood alright. As with all businesses you will find the seasons to be some to be Feast and others to be much slower, but it all works out. Wishing you well on your full time wood work.

Good looking Kitchen Island Monte. Lots of gluing going on there! Every project has it’s own uniqueness and it’s never boring for me! I think about how you got there! Nice work!

This is a very nice island top. Congratulations.

BTW, Monte, there’s nothing at all boring about you or your projects. I always love to keep up with your projects. As far as I’m concerned you are one of the most productive woodworkers on Lumberjocks. I hope that you are constantly overcoming your shop fire and are on your way to a complete recovery. You’re a good man and it’s hard to keep a good man down.

Nice work, Monte. Don’t worry about boring people; they can always scroll past if they are not interested.
