Nice Pens. I like the fourth one best. Nice Solid look to it.

You also used my Birthstone, Amethyst to display it on. Should I send you my Mailing Addres so you can send it on up?...LOL…

Rick

PS: After I said that I began to think (Smell It Burning?) I don’t do any Pen Turning at this point but would like to start. Do the Pen Suppliers sell “Holders” for Pens? Using something like the chunk of Amethyst with a Holder Fastened to it mignt make a Nice Looking Piece?

Rick, thanks for the compliment…I really appreciate it all. I put up the amethyst just for you, buddy. Check out the IAP (International Association of Pen Turners) http://www.penturners.org/ and you’ll find just about every piece of info you need to get started. Be mindful though, once you’ve started you won’t be able to stop! If you’re married, I hope your wife is understanding…You’ve been warned!

HA!! There’s a Coincidence for you. I just sent you a PM asking you for some advice on Equipment.

I was married for 24 Years but things happen. However, I’d do it again in the Blink Of An Eye!!

I’d let “Her” design them for me (Sort Of …LOL..) that way “She’s Part Of It”. Hey! After 24 Years you at least learn a few things!! ...LOL…

Thanks for the Information Chris. It IS appreciated.

Okay My Man! All Registered and Set Up with the IAP! Just waiting for “An Administrator To Approve The Content” of my Application.

Ain’t No Moss Growing Under This Turnip Truck Fallout!! I Have NO Idea what I just said??? ;-}

Thank You, Kind Sir!

OH! I clicked on the Canadin Flag and read all about IAP Members sending 1,000’s of Pens to our Soldiers (NO Matter Canadian or American) Overseas. WONDERFUL IDEA!!!

I had a feeling a fellow turner would pick up on the “flying” reference. :) Was a figurative reference more than anything but I like playing with words. I try not to make things fly off as a habit but we’ve all been there before…face/dust protection is a must!
