Hey Guys and Gals, I have a inspired Degoose cutting board i made for my wife. I have been wanting to make a cutting board for a while however i wanted it to have the Wow factor and i love Degoose cutting boards so i read his blog and put my on little touch to it. I used four types of wood. Mahogany, walnut, ash and for the trim maple. It was a liitle difficult some cracks but i am happy with my first one. Thank for looking and comments are welcome.

Thanks guys for the comments. This is my last project for a while. Tomorrow i will go under the knife because of carpal tunnel. I have had the problem for ten years. The Dr said i should of had it done five years ago. I pray for a short recovery and back in the work shop again.

If you had not told us I would never have known it was your first cutting board. It looks great. I hope you have an event free surgery and a speedy recovery.

You’re making me look bad… I’ve got a couple boards under my belt but just recently tried to make one out of tumbling blocks and it turned out a disaster. You really picked a challenge for your first one. Excellent joice of woods. Nice job!

Beautiful cutting board and beautiful flowers !!

I like the design of your cutting board

Did you use a specifical jig to cut all the pieces of the cutting board ?

Good job
