Asian-inspired Bear Brooch Pin Display Case And Pagoda Box

The Display Case was my wife’s idea. She has bought my Mother bear Brooch Pins for twenty-something years and thought it would be nice to give her a way to display them. She also made interchangeable color-coordinated inserts to which the pins can be attached. The pagoda box was built to compliment the case.These pieces are built out of five different types of wood (fall off pieces from other projects): Spalted oak, quartersawn white oak, elm, maple and birch…sort of a Asian five spice concoction. The tiles are Chinese heirlooms.
