This is a cabinet height dining table that I was commissioned to build a few months ago. It is 1 1/2” thick and 42” in diameter. The top is walnut, cherry, padauk, and purpleheart. The base is alder. The top weighs about 80 lbs., so the base was interesting to design. For my garage shop, this was a good challenge.

The top looks great. Interesting base you built. Nice job.

Beautiful stripes colouration and awesome leg design. My complaints gouse to final colour to leg set. I would leave it as is or put some light colour.

I would probably go lighter on the base also, but customer gets what customer wants.
