Scrolled from an unknown species of wood. The grey color is all the way through, and the wood is close grained and of medium hardness. Identity appreciated.

The darker areas were torched and the details on the guardians were done with a wood burner.

The log is also unknown, I am poor at wood identification. The other base is catalpa.

These are gifts for a customers 2 little girls that like dragons. The pattern and design are both from rjR.

Really cool. With the log and the burning, the dragons look right at home.

Cool name plates. I love the dragons! Depending on how old the girls are do not be surprised or offended if these get enhanced by artistic young hands (I have a cousin whose daughter always has to add glitter to any new purchase – clothes, school supplies, cell phone case, etc. Mom and Dad had to draw the line at adding glitter to the new baby brother.)

Thanks for posting.
