Turned Flask with Carving. I etched and formed a copper medallion for the center. The whole was painted with Modern Masters Brass Paint and a blue patina applied.

wow your work is just beautiful,i just love how you blend different mediums and your use of color.have you ever checked out david marks work he does a lot of the same technique with wood and different paints and patinas.

I just checked out his gallery. I’ve heard of him before and would love to spend time in his shop! You’re right. He does beautiful work!

My sister has a vase in this style sitting next to her fireplace – ceramic and metal, she paid BIG bucks for it at a fancy home d├ęcor shop . I like yours better. Thanks for posting.
