I made 2 Adirondack chairs a few weeks ago. They were really comfortable and my DIL wanted a pair. I decided to make a settee for her. I couldn’t find any plans that I really liked. It hit me all I needed to do was build two more chairs and fasten them together. I just changed the shape of the two inner arms slightly and tied everything together. They met the approval of all parties. These were made from eastern red cedar and finished with Thompson’s water seal. The chairs were based on plans from Wood magazine Issue 219 July 2013.

Very nice Bruce, I like the way you tied the two chairs together.

Very nice chairs from very nice wood. Beats plastic 1000 to one.

Those are nice but I suspect the young lady in the first picture would like one her size.
