I’ve turned these in the last couple weeks. 1 out of Bocote, 1 out of Purple heart,
several out of acrylics and the 30cal bullet pen is done with walnut..

Great looking pens Tim. I havent turned any acrylic blanks yet but I think I’ll try it out. Did you make the 30 cal pen from a kit or from scratch? Nice work.

The 30 cal is from a kit tat you can get from WC. You only have to turn the wood part.

Nice looking pens… my son-in-law (the hunter) would love it! I’m looking at getting into pen turning… any recommendations on a lathe?

Mighty fine. I sell a lot of the 30 cal. Also the 50 cal. are good sellers. Hugly as heck, but good sellers none the less. Slimline’s sell good made of acrylic. Folks around here like the acrylic better than the wood. ? The 30 & 50 cals sell the best when done in camo acrylic. Happy turning Tim.

Very nice assortment of pens, I haven’t turned a pen in a long time but now after seeing yours, inspires me to turn one.
