Nothing too fancy. I needed a hanger for my razor and shaving brush in my spare bathroom. Had a scrap of white oak that’s a pretty close match to the wood trim in the bathroom. Cut two pieces, drilled a few holes, chamfered a few edges, glued things together with a couple dowels to be extra sure, planed, sanded, hit it with two coats of BLO and screwed it to the wall. Done.

Thanks, Speedy. Seemed like time for something simple and useful after a few projects that stretched on too long, and another I’ve been having trouble getting started on. Knock out something quick and useful and get the juices flowing. Seems to have done the trick, too.
