I made this Wedding sign out of common lumber from Lowes. Bought a piece 48” long by 11 1/4” wide. Cut down to 23 1/2” long, so could make 2 of these if needed. Then I textured the wood with abrasive pad that you use the strip paint with, works great. Stained the wood with Rustoluem Kona stain, let dry for 2 hours, then sprayed a coat of Matte clear.

Clamped it in my X-Carve CNC and carved with a 90 degree V-Bit, then flipped it over and added keyholes slots on the back for hanging. Then sprayed another coat of clear. It turned out Great. Thanks for checking out my Wedding sign.
