I decided to make this adirondack bench because i saw one, and wanted one of my own. i initially built 2, The first one went to a local elementary school, i called it a “buddy bench”. Someone had purchased plans for it so i just traced out the plans and cut all the pieces on a band saw. The assembly was simple there was a packet of instructions to follow with step by step directions.

Looks great Christian, you should be very proud of what you’ve been able to build this year. just an FYI- when posting pictures, try to crop them first (even just a little bit), save them, and then post the cropped image. For some reason LJs doesn’t like cell phone pictures, but cropping them a little keeps the correct orientation.

Great work all year buddy

Great job on your Adirondack chair/bench. Whenever I see one I always inspect it to see all the different ways people construct them. I like this one because it looks nice and it looks so comfortable to sit in. Also having a 2nd seat for your favorite friend to join you is a big plus! Nice and cozy! Great job!

note: That’s some good advice from Tooch about taking and uploading photos to LJ’s.

I use an iPhone to take my photos and if I hold the shutter button to the (Right Only) no matter what I’m shooting my photos always come out right side up when I post them. Not sure if that’s the case with all camera phones.
