“Game Table”

This game table was made for a customer to match their chairs. The center is set down 1” with two holes, one on each side to change out the game boards from Chess to backgammon.

The table was made by three generations. My Son Eric, my Dad, and myself. My Dad has been a Professional Sign Painter his whole life. Also, I just met my Dad for the first time a few years ago. This was something I’ve been wanting to do for a little while. Who said you can’t teach a old dog new tricks.

The table is made out of solid Birch. Size is 30” Diameter by 29” tall. Thanks for looking.

Nice idea Dennis & special that it was a family creation, How did you construct the apron was it laminated around a former or assembled in sections from solid stock?

Dennis it is great that you found your dad and that you are teaching the “Old Dog” new tricks

the three of you produced and beautiful game table… would love to hear the experience of the three of you building the table I bet there are some laughs in there that you will look back and laugh about when you look at the pictures in years to come….

Seems to be a little simple for you. I mean your other game board is pretty insane. This really shows the full range of your abilities. Neat story about you dad. May dad and brother are woodworkers too and it is fun to build something together so I know the feel. Great build buddy
