F-550 dump needed a box for a tree service company. Used 2×6 PT for the frame with half lap joints and 3/4 PT Plywood for the outside. Metal angle braces at the corners bolt the ply to the frame and there are botls holding the whole thing to the bed.
It’s HEAVY and the owner tells me that when the dump bed is empty that the back of the truck sways on corners. However, the photos are after a year of service and the only addition is the metal plate to take the impact from the chipper. So far so good!

I see those done around here with most of the tree services… Specifically though, the smaller ones typically have 2 trucks, one like you show there towing the chipper, and a second one towing a large landscape type trailer with one of these built on… They can shred a lot of limbs in one day…
