Certainly not an example of “Fine Furniture”... but I figure why not post?

I bought a used swing set for the kiddos, (see last pic) and had some leftover lumber. It’s scrap PT pine and extra decking from the swing set. Knocked together in about 20 minutes, no joinery to speak of, all 2” deck screws. The back is actually held into the mini retaining wall with lags, and the front piece sits on the gravel fill. No finish, we’ll let it weather.

Basically just a place to put our butts while we hang out with the kids playing on the swings!

That looks like it was fun to build. Nice looking place you have there.

Yep, looks strong enough to do a little sanding on while you watch the kiddos.

Very good use of the scraps & a nice spot to sit watch the kids and the clouds go by.

Hi Ryan,

As others have said, nice use of left over material. I see a lawn sprinkler behind the bench. With PT lumber, no worries! Nice job.
