We were cleaning out a back yard to get ready for a wedding reception and one tree came down that yielded a log big enough to turn. These are two items I turned so far…They are still rough turned and will need to be finished when the wood has dried completely. Check back again to see the completed turnings.

Nice designs. You might want to turn a couple of pieces all the way and see how they move as they dry. You can end up with some interesting shapes that way.

Yep…pretty small tree actually, I was lucky to get one good log right at the base…The tree split into to at the base and the two sections were too small…
