We were cleaning out a back yard to get ready for a wedding reception and one tree came down that yielded a log big enough to turn. These are two items I turned so far…They are still rough turned and will need to be finished when the wood has dried completely. Nice designs. You might want to turn a couple of pieces all the way and see how they move as they dry. You can end up with some interesting shapes that way.

Yep…pretty small tree actually, I was lucky to get one good log right at the base…The tree split into to at the base and the two sections were too small…
