what a bold & interesting carving. Tho it does conjur up visions of marching black boots.& the sound they produce. THis piece is very strong.

Michelletwo, ...looks to me you misunderstood the meaning of above carving. I do not want to think you did it in pourpose. Perhaps, this is just because you miss my geographical location whitch is a little bit far to the east of Europe. ... Are you familiar with “black boots” and the sound they produce? You see, we have still some people here who could not sleep because they remember that sound and you see, some of them have little number tattooed on ther hands … and you see, that is not a phone number to remember…

I’m sorry, I did not understand your carving. It reminds me so much of the eagles..It is such a strong carving and my family heard those, and I have heard many stories , and seen much hurt. My last surviving relative died not long ago. Could you please tell me what you were thinking/feeling while you carved & what you are trying to say to us? Thank you

Michelletwo, my goal is not to explain what is beyond my carvings or basics of art compositions, or basics of symbolism in contemorary art, ect (regretfully, I am not good in teaching at all, for more then nine years I was trying to teach some camel jockeys thermodynamics and I know I failed). My goal in carving is to ignite EMOTIONS & EXITEMENTS, so…in your case I guess I am successful.
Wishing you all the best.
