So, I have been wood turning for the better part of 5 months now, and I have made a wide variety of small projects i.e. pens, yo-yo’s, lidded boxes…things of that nature. This is my first “bigger” project. I glued up 4 quarter stock of Ash and African Padauk, to make this 3 inch wide and 20 inch long rolling pin for my mother for Mother’s Day. It’s finished with a few coats of a food grade Mineral Oil and then a bit of Caruba wax just before delivering it for some luster.
Comments, suggestions or anything else are welcome!
Thanks!

Beautiful. Turning is addicting too.

My tiny, 12” lathe limits my projects; but, it is still fun to make little things on.
