Fidget Spinner

Been the new trend anti-anxiety toy in the market, I wanted to also give it a try.
I choose to do the Batman logo as it will be more appreciated!!!
You can buy these things everywhere now and they are so cheap, about the cost of one of the bearings!!! … but OK it’s hard wood, handmade and another excuse for a small project while waiting for the glue-up time on a unit that I am building.

Thank you for visiting

Nice!
I am sure the kids would love this BATMAN design especially if it’s made by a craftsman like you .
What size is it and what is the white centre !

Sorry forgot about the center piece…
It’s a nylon furniture fastener… I used only the top cup and trim it down a bit just to protrude from the back side. It’s 8mm like the bearing opening and it fitted tight so no need to for glue up.
The bearings I used are 8mm hole with 22mm OD

SPINNER TIP
How to make your spinner to spin like crazy?
Just learn this one… so I remove the protective spinning bearing plastic rims and I soaked it for 5-10 mins in turpentine or any other solution to clean all the grease from the bearing balls… dry it out and put it back as it is without the plastic rims… now it spins like crazy !!!

Cool,
I haven’t made one yet,
but when I do I will get center bearing with a bigger hole so that it will sit on 1 finger.

Why bearings on the 2 ends, do you hold them and spin it from there as well?
