One of my High School Senior students started this Morris Chair when he was a sophomore and was not able to take my class as a Junior, but was able to fit it into his Senior Schedule and completed it this year. We hired the upholstery since we do not have the equipment and I do not have the training. He used the Festool Domino to do much of the work on it this year. The original plans that we modified came from the February 1999 issue of Wood Magazine. He also carved his initials into each side of the chair.

Good looking chair! It says something really positive that a student can keep on a project for that length of time.

Great chair. I bet he was just waiting to get his drivers license before completing the chair. It just would not fit in the newspaper racks on his bike.
