I carved this fish, & didn’t know what do with it. One day while out in my shop, I got the idea of making windmill out of old CD disk failures. I cut a 4” diameter hub, then marked the diameter into six. Then made angled cuts with the band saw. Then epoxied the disks in place. I bored out the center, fitted two ball bearing with a 1/4” center. I installed the machine on my dock using an old TV antenna mast. I received a complaint one day from one of my neighbors across the lake that it was driving her crazy. She was to the South of me, & when the Sun shined on it , it was like a strobe light. I took two coats of paint to eliminate the reflection.

Some people don’t like “ART” and don’t have a sense of humor. You should have one for her.

She was right, it would irritate anybody. Take a CD outside on a sunny day and have someone wave it in front of you.
