I made this for no real reason beside the fact that I wanted to practice and try some new things.
It is cherry with bolivian rosewood. Finish is tung oil and 2 coats of wipe on poly. I gave it to a
woman at my work and she was very happy. Thanks for looking!

very nice job, did the top give you trouble or is it made to be set open like that in the first and third pic?

I chamfered the edges like that on purpose. I tried a few things on this box just to see how it would
look for future projects.
