Hi Lumberjocks – been a few weeks but excited to post this project!

If you like coffee, chopping up food, or just having a cool all in one station to do both, then you’ll enjoy this little DIY project I made over the past week.

Hope you enjoy my goofy face!

All in one project – I like this combination of metal pipes and wood.

Great movie Zach! Might have to add some embellishments to make it even more steam-punky Scatruler!
And talk about perfect timing! I just finished a big plumbing job which involved tearing out a bunch of galvanized pipe with fittings so I have a lot of what I will need to build this. (I put in an on-demand water heater and used copper for all the new stuff). Plus my neighbor dropped off a stack of maple flooring seconds (9” x 18” panels made of 1 1/8” x 9” pieces held together with plastic splines) that will be perfect for the base. I can’t wait to taste the coffee from my new coffee-maker!!!

Awesome man! Sounds like you do have everything! Just make sure you clean all of the pipes thoroughly. I’m still experimenting with it – the water tends to drain a bit too quickly, but I think it is because I’m pouring too much at once. If you have any sort of DIY methods to slow the water drain to let it absorb the coffee better, definitely share it here! Best of luck!
