Low Chair and Table Set
If it’s Wood … nothing goes to waste!!!

Both pieces they were thrown away, broken with missing pieces and tops.
I know some people dislike reclaim or pallet wood, but I believe wood is wood.
I wanted to try some irregular approach making the tops from pallet wood to give some character.

First everything was stripped and sanded down to bare wood. Then I fixed all the loose tenons or broken parts, made some top brackets to make the pieces sturdy again.

On the table I made a top with no straight edges but in a comfortable rounded angle leaning outwards and also I added a straight edge bottom shelf.
On the oak chair the sit top has an embossed touch of irregular matching shape pieces with a rounded disagreed grooves and side edges.
Finished with paint for the table legs and the rest has a stained varnished and a lacquer on top.
Ready for a second life circle!!!

Thanks for watching

Very good refix with pallet wood – I don’t mind. You are making those projects fast like on production line!

Thanks Ivan,
No my friend this was actually made couple of months ago but never posted it … I was away from internet for long time due to PC problems and I had to build a new one and before that I was for a period in another city away from the shop… so I may post daily some projects I did but not all of them are done in a day.

Hey Tony hahaha you made me laugh buddy… thank you.
I will let you inn in a “secret” here… wood in my country been a island is 3 times the price from yours and not much of a variety as everything is imported… so reclaimed and pallet wood was an alternative for me at the beginning to make some projects… then I liked it so much that I continue doing it whenever I can. :) !!!

A nice come back for the set. More that often, people throw away anything that even looks broken. Good to see new life brought back to it.
