This is a custom loft bed we finished up in May 2017. We built it in a Baseball Theme Loft Bed, more specifically the Chicago Cubs.

What we did was take a standard loft bed design, made a few changes and finish it in the custom colors for the team. We have all the swatches available for Major League Baseball, NFL, College Football. Anything you can think of.

We replaced the guardrail with Louisville Slugger bats. These are authentic Youth autographed bats. I used two sided lag bolts in between the bats and phillip head lag screws on the outside, attached to the ash trim piece. I then attach the trim pieces to the side rails with the cutout.

We also put a staircase on the side instead of doing the standard ladder. This is a twenty-five inch staircase. Under each tread we put pull out drawers for extra storage. I used soft close full extension/side mount rails. I wasn’t real impressed with that version. They didn’t work as good as the undermount.

We also have a five drawer chest. Behind the chest we have a bookcase with adjustable shelves. The bottom bed here is a full size that is on casters so it is able to be pulled out if needed.

The scoreboard is customized by the customer. I send them a form to fill out. They pick the teams, pick the score layout, every aspect of this scoreboard and we will build that to their specifications.

That is cool Chris.

I would have loved that as a kid. I had such a small room and no one in the 80s was thinking of things like this! Cool work.

A Cub fan knows the W Flag is used to show that he team won that day, since the times before mass communications, the Cubs have flown the W from the corners of Wrigley Field to show the neighborhood the results of the game.

Not sure what you are referring to.
