Louvered vent covers I made for my In-Laws. These are going to replace some metal ones that have out-lived their usefulness. These are made with curly maple with a clear coat finish. They have existing light colored maple base molding that these will compliment. These should also breath a bit better than the metal versions did.

Very nice, bought a maple one a few years ago before I knew I could actually build one myself! Looking at the price today for them building the only way to go! I did have to add a couple of inches to the bottom but wouldn’t count it as a project.

The workmanship is outstanding and that wood looks primo!

I’ve got a few metal ones in the house and they have the typical rust and flakey paint, are yours going to be exposed to heating or A/C air? I’d love to replace them with something as decorative as you’ve made but the humid swamp cooler air might not agree.

Great work John!

Excellent work. Same wood I made my wife’s kitchen cabinets with. I love it. Great work, keep it up.
