Cherry bookcases and mantel over corner fireplace

Constructed of Cherry and finished with lacquer, this had to be one of the more difficult of the mantels that I have done as it was incorrectly framed into the wall from the get go. I had to really push the envelope of hiding discrepancies in measurable balance and as well turn the corners into my cases. None the less, when all was done the client was truly pleased and so was I.

great detail work on this one… nice built in unit…
