I made these two cutting boards and the set of cheese knives last month to be auctioned off at a charity fundraiser. If I recall, they brought in close to $400 which all went to help cancer victims in our community. Not bad for a few hours of work. Although I don’t know the total amount of money that was raised, I was told this was one of their best years ever. Thanks to all those who donated and purchased donated items. The boards were made of maple, walnut, bubinga and cherry and were finished with a mixture of beeswax and mineral oil. The same woods were used for the knife handles, but I finished those with CA.
