Wall Coat Rack with Handy Drawers

Reclaim Wood and Pallets can always make nice projects. Even the defects can be interesting if you like this style.
I have done quite a few projects out of reclaimed or pallet wood and I will post them for those who do like this approach in woodworking.

This wall hanger with 4 small handy drawers has 3 dowel hangers and it’s inspired from the Shakers style and as I said is made out of pallet and reclaimed wood. Even its top can be used to put some decorative vase or other.
Finished with two different color varnish to give it some depth.
Dimension are 60X15X20cm.

Thank you for watching, all comments are welcome !!!

It’s very impressive how you managed to get such rustic look. I like those small drawers.

Cool coat rack. I like the idea of the drawers. It is a place for you keys and miscellaneous.

I like it … good job! Please show drawer details. I just completed drawers about that size ( 5-3/8 W x 4-1/2 D x 2 H) on my current project with half blind dovetails!

I like this old school shaker style. You have a knack for making pallet wood look good Stelios. The dark drawers give it some nice contrast! I also like how the round knobs and pegs match. Super job!

This is a beautiful piece. It looks like an original antique and it displays a lot of nice craftsmanship.

Nice work Stelios. It has that old traditional look with just enough detail to make it interesting. I think the finish plays a big part in that. I know a lot of negative is said about pallet wood, but it does have character.

Thank Ivan… I have made allot of trial and error samples the last couple of years to find products that will give me various different type of look on pallets … but it also depends of what kind of wood the pallet is made of.

Thank you Ron… Unfortunately I didn’t make any photos of the drawers as it sold gone the moment I finished it. I can only tell you that are just simple bad joint drawers nothing special. :D !!!
