Hollow form vessel, turned from fiddle back maple, finished with aniline dyes and wipe-on poly. It measures approximately 7.5 inches tall by 6.5 inches wide.

As a novice turner I have followed your work here on LJ and I am always amazed at the quality and artistry. This one really stands out and is just stunning. The finish and fiddle back figure reminds me of views of the earth from space. Thanks for the posts and inspiration.

Beautifully turned and such a striking depth to the Maple. The dye certainly adds to the overall effect. In a word ‘exotic’.
