Finally complete a commission piece and it was interesting build I incorporated the client request to make a stop on it so won’t fall in the tub and a way to hang it up after when not in use to keep out of the way. After some head scratching I finally come up with something and it all turned out good dispite some building mistakes along the way.
I used quarter sawn sapelle ( similar mahogany) supplied from @windsorplywoodleduc and finished with Osmo top coat oil clear. @osmocanada

Way too much but what ever the customer wants …

The solution met the customer requirements and turned out very nice.

I don’t think I’ve ever spent enough time in a tub to light candles, enjoy a drink and play with an IPad. I’m guessing the customer is under 40 and single or over 60 and rich. LOL

Great build.

nice job. I hope the customer has the good sense to NEVER plug the tablet in while using it there! There was a guy that died a couple of weeks ago by bathing, charging his phone. People I guess don’t realize that even though the phones/tablets are DC, the charging cable is AC and can electrocute someone easily.
