Simple Table I made using bandsaw to make the legs and simple trim on the top just 45 deg cut on table saw. Sliding drawer, this table has been in our kitchen for years. Most wood is pine, legs are poplar.

Nice table, is it painted or what type of finish do you have on it?

I’m working on small writing desk right now, so I’m interested in leg designs that aren’t too difficult. It’s hard to tell from the photo…did you ust trim the corners off the lower legs?

To answer any questions, yes it is painted… I use spray paint because I hate brush lines. I also antuiqe the edges with a sanding block before I apply the finish coat. As for the legs, I angled the deck of the band saw at 45 and gut the corners up the length of the leg. I rounded the cut off about 6 inches before the top. It was an idea I got from a buddy who is a wood worker. I will try to post closeups, I will get some more pictures.
It is simple, and seemed to be something that would be easy to find. Most things I build are because my wife knows exactly what she wants, and can’t find it… so I make it.

The secind picture is a scetch to show you how I did the legs, I don’t have a digital cam and have to borrow a friends so until I get a better picture, I wanted to answer that question, I hope this is helpful.
