While I was away in Ireland my honey do list got longer and top of the list was to make a wooden fence to go around the vegetable garden… to be honest the project cost allot more than I budgeted and needed more 4×4 PT posts.

As you can see from the sketchup drawing the construction is basic a lot of butt joints.

I stsrted oof by putting 4×4 fence post 2 feet into the ground, after that I used the space between each of the post to determine the individual width of each fence.

The fence parts were all built with 2×4 PT lumber and they are basic stiles and rails with garden mesh sandwiched in between the front and back of each fence… (very heavy)... nothing much to it than that…

Thanks for visiting… this was a very arduous project I just realized just how out of shape.. lol

Some pretty heavy duty wood for such a small fence around a garden. What are you keeping out…......Grizzly Bears?
