MDF Height Adjustable Laptop Table

My Wife wanted a Laptop Table so we could play Games in the same room without her having to use the lap desk. So I had some MDF and decided to build her one. All cut with a Circular Saw.
I made the height adjustable with bolts and wing nuts. I used Frogtape to mask off for the Horde symbol on the top. That tape works GREAT! No bleeding like with the crummy blue tape. And it didn’t peel off the matte black paint either. Sealed it all up with some Gloss Poly.
Before you ask, the symbol is a Horde PVP symbol from World of Warcraft :)

Thats a nice looking table. I know what the symbol on the laptop means (Horde RULES btw!) but I am curious what is the red symbol on the table under the laptop? Whatever it is I like the red on black. really makes it stand out. Good work.

Horde Rules!! Sorry Chase, your outnumbered here. The real question remains, Orcs or Undead?

That looks great!!! Do you pull any of the finish when removing the frog tape? I may have to give it a try, I’m still using blue tape.

Great table! Other than the horde thing though. I recently gave up the game so I could spend time in my shop once again.

Nope. The matte black didn’t come off at all. The Frogtape holds a little more than the blue tape does, but it came off completely clean and the gloss red actually looked like a sticker on the matte black paint.

I am so glad I gave up WOW! It really was a time drainer as well as causing me to never get any sleep on raid nights. Now I have lots of new found time to spend with my family and of course wood working. Nice job on the table! I may do something similar minus the fancy paint job of course.. and oh.. yeah.. ALLIANCE rules except in WSG :(
