Very nice. What did you use to draw air through it?

The fan is a small attic fan from the BORG.

Sure beats the price of a manufactured air filtering system. Nice clean design. I like the melamine because it is easy to keep clean. What is “the BORG”?
I made one with a squirrel cage blower salvaged from a furnace (aka air handler) ; cost…free at most heating contractors. I got mine when I replaced my heating system.
To make good use of the space mine exhausts the side and the top forms a sharpening station with a grinder and other sharpening stuff. I use a double filter; outer one coarse, inner one a hepa type. It also circulates the air past the wood stove and heats the shop better.

BORG is an acronym for Big Orange Retail Giant, otherwise known as Home Depot. I have also seen this used for non orange colored big box stores such as Lowes.

Have your say...
