Shot Glass Cabinet

This is an oak shot glass cabinet I built a few years back and have just replaced the single strength glass shelves with 1/4” glass ones. I have about 100 shot glasses from all over the world in there and have not had a drink out of any of them. There is also a baseball in there that I got from Commisky park when I went to game there with my dad in the 60’s and a dangling alien from Roswell, NM I wanted some place to display them to remind me of all the good times.
The top of the cabinet holds a compact stero system and the glass door locks.

That’s nice. Wife has collected several shot glasses (nowhere near 100) and I’d like to build something similar to display them…perhaps smaller and wall mounted for her smaller number. I also like the way you etched an image of socked feet into the glass door on the second picture :)

Nice shot glass cabinet. I see you round the edges if your cabinets. I do likewise, makes them look 100% better. It woll also mabey prevent a child from getting a cut head if they fall and the edge is sharp.

Yes the stereo, and the collection of glasses, this is pure nostagy…
It’s fine to make a special place for special things, and you brought them into honor ;-)

Hi Rex. I only have one bottle of Crown Royal so I don’t need a cabinet for it. It does not hang around long anyway.
Nice family picture you have on your site!
