sycamore and maple corner cabinet

small curve front corner cabinet. curve door rails and face frame made with multiple 3/16 plys. curve door panel made by laminating 2 pieces 1/8 ply on form. curved panels then veneered with curly maple veneer. walnut 1/4 round was steamed to the proper curve. all construction is mortise and tenon.

main construction is sycamore with curly maple top, curly maple pulls, curly maple panels, curly maple base, walnut beading. finish is spar urethane. the sycamore was salvage material from a house that was torn down years ago. thanks for looking.

Great choice of wood contrasts and beautiful craftsmanship. I’m still trying to perfect straight and square…one day I’ll have to throw in a curve or two.
