Last spring I built a couple Adirondack Chairs and they were extremely comfortable to sit in, but they sit very low and are hard for some people to get in and out of. So I wanted to build a couple chairs that were slightly higher and easier to get in and out of. These chairs accomplished that, but they are not quite as comfortable as a true adirondack chair. I had some extra 1×6 boards and some 1×2, so I made the plans to use what material I had. I did switch out the 1×6 boards for 2×4’s for the legs. Someday I will update the plan. I like how they turned out, but I would make the legs 2”’s longer next time, the arm rest on these ones are a little low. I may also add a curve to the back support on the next ones. Here’s the dimensions if anyone is interested.
