Scrap Wood Chairs

After completing phase one of a ongoing deck project, I had a bunch of 5/4 deck board cut offs that were begging to be used for something. A couple of years back I used the popular mechanics plans to build some Adirondack chairs for use around the house. We have enjoyed them so I decided to build a couple more. Took a couple of Saturdays to cut them out and assemble them but now I am just waiting for the wood to dry out enough to paint. Was pretty good to get back in the shop again.

Great job on those chairs Buster! It’s nice when you find a use for all those cutoffs!

That’s the way to do it Buster. DIY and use up those scraps. Now relax.

These chairs are so nice and beautifully done and it’s always nice to know that the project came out of salvaged wood. Congratulations.
