Not to long ago I started to make wooden rings. Needless to say it is addictive.

nice, I’ve not tried these, how do you control the size?

I grind pattle bits to the exact size ( only in whole and half sizes). Then I take of just a little more using sand paper on a tapered dowel. This smooths the inside, takes off enough that after CA glue it’s the correct size, and creates a comfort fit.
