Thanks…I just turned this one tonight and it doesn’t have a finish on it yet. It’s a little wet still so I’ll let it dry out for a few weeks then apply the finish.

Wow, I really like this natural edge bowl, the shape and the bark are outstanding!!! By all means keep up the great work!

I don’t…I can post a photo of the cut logs…when I picked them up from my neighbor he had already cut the tree up in small logs and I couldn’t really tell. The bark is bright white. My guess at the time was Ash. The wood near the outside of the tree when cut on my band saw was really white…the darker wood is still a little wet.
