I made this drill press table from left over goods from various projects. The fence is from my old router table top from Rockler, t-track is by Incra, cam locks are from Rockler. The deck is 34 1/2” X 17 1/2”. Nice and roomy, flat, level and sturdy. Should make life easier. The rolling tool box cart was also built from left overs. I just got so tired of reaching to overhead shelves to pull down a tool box, the one with all my air nails are pretty heavy. The majority of the tool boxes are from Harbor Freight and have multiple bins, which are real handy. The tool boxes go on sale and you get get them for around $5 a piece, normally there are around $8. What’s nice about the cart is, I can either park it anywhere in the shop, or roll it to the bench.

I just recently discovered those Harbor Freight boxes and love them. I have 2 at the moment and have others from HD that I made a wall mounted case for, but the HF ones have removable bins, so I’m debating going your route right now.

This is a very nice drill press table. It’s nicely done and looks very efficient. It will be a fine addition to your shop.

Good idea on the box cart. I had mine scattered in various drawers until I got some metal ones. For our favorite price of FREE. LOL
